I am a professional musician and dedicated educator offering personalized music instruction in piano, flute, and violin. Based in New York, I have been teaching private lessons both in person and online since 1993. I am an award-winning jazz bassist, composer, bandleader, and music educator based in New York City. I began studying violin at age six and transitioned to the upright bass at fifteen. Originally from Perth, Australia, Marshall began learning piano at the age of 7 and the violin at 8. He quickly took to the violin and was offered a specialist music scholarship to Churchlands Senior High School. By the end of his time at Churchlands, Marshall was awarded several prizes including top instrumental student & music dux and gained his Associate Diploma from the AMEB.
