As for the specific learning content, you will learn Hanyu Pinyin (汉语拼音 Hànyǔ pīnyīn) System, which is a written notation system that basically tells us how to pronounce Mandarin and its four Mandarin tones, as well as the neutral tone. Mandarin vowels (e.g. finals) and consonants (e.g. initials) will also be taught in the Pinyin system.

Besides that, on conversation basis, you will learn to speak Mandarin interesting words and phrases for greetings, such as “hello” (你好nǐ hǎo), “long time no see” (好久不见hǎo jiǔ bú jiàn) and “very well” (很好hěn hǎo). Moreover, you get to learn offering drinks to a guest at home in Mandarin.

In the topic/dialogue of introducing a friend to your family members, you will learn words/phrases such as “welcome” (欢迎huān yíng), “asking name” (你叫什么名字 nǐ jiào shénme míngzi), “nice to meet you.” (很高兴认识你hěn gāoxìng rènshi nĭ) More extended vocabulary on family members in Mandarin will also be taught.

Another dialogue that you will be learning is contacting a friend by a telephone call; and asking if he is at home. As for the extended vocabulary, you will also learn the different communication technologies and tools in Mandarin, such as smart phone, skype, cell phone, email, laptop computer and etc.

Learning to speak from 0 to 100 in Mandarin is another interesting topic for you.

Lastly, you get to learn ordering drinks in a restaurant in Mandarin.
