Intro to Tunisian Crochet

About Intro to Tunisian Crochet

Tunisian Crochet is a little bit crochet, a little bit knitting, and a lot of fun! Also known as Afghan Stitch, this hybrid technique uses a special crochet hook to quickly create blankets, placemats, scarfs, and garments. In this introductory class you'll learn the Tunisian Simple Stitch and the Tunisian Knit Stitch, as well as how to increase and decrease.

This class is limited to 25 students.

Class Materials Needed

• Smooth, light- or medium- color sport, dk or worsted weight yarn
• Tunisian crochet hooks in size(s) appropriate for your yarn, or an interchangeable crochet hook set. Note: you'll need a much larger hook than you usually use with your chosen yarn. For example, I typically use an 8 mm hook with worsted weight yarn.
• Scissors

Homework
