About Wonky Freeform Spirals
Learn how to apply freeform crochet techniques to the simple spiral to create irregular, wonky, artistic spirals. This class is an inspiring way for freeform crocheters to learn more techniques, but it's also a perfect way to try out freeform for traditional crocheters.
What will students learn:
Spiral construction, how to create special effects using basic stitches, how to embellish the surface, how to incorporate stitch patterns and special techniques into spirals, make double and triple spirals with multiple yarns, how to improvise with confidence.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Bring your homework spiral and a variety of yarns in smallish quantities (10-25 yds each) for experimenting along with hooks that are appropriate for your yarns, a yarn needle, scissors.
