About Basics and Fundamentals of Beatboxing
A weekly 45 minute lesson (5 weeks total) where we learn the basics and fundamentals of beatboxing.
Week 1 - Drumming - Learn drum sounds, beats and basic breathing techniques
Week 2 - Breathing - Learn more drum beats to increase our rhythm skills and work on breathing to increase stamina
Week 3 - Melody - Learn how to incorporate your voice into drums to create music, do song covers and express yourself vocally while beatboxing the rhythm
Week 4 - Bass & SoundFx - We explore bass sound basics and also attention grabbing special sound fx like the siren, dj scratch and more!
Week 5 - Expression and freestyle beatboxing - how to use sounds to express and inspire yourself to keep making music
The capacity for this class is 20 students.
Class Goals
- To learn beatboxing for new starters and beginners
- To gain confidence in themselves to beatbox to others people in the group lesson to share their skills
- To gain a clear understanding of how beatboxing drumming and basic breath control works.
