About Beginner Brioche Cowl
Make your first Brioche Cowl in the round with 2 contrasting skeins of bulky yarn. Use two solids or a solid and a nice variegated to show off your brioche columns. The contrast also helps you stay on track in nice straight lines from start to finish in just a few hours. Pattern provided.
The capacity for this class is 12 students.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
16" circular needle, size 11
One ring marker of a size that fits the needle tips.
2 skeins of bulky yarn such as Encore Mega or Malabrigo Noventa/Mecha, rewound into balls.

No materials fee for this class.
Pre-class Homework
No homework, but be sure to bring the correct needle & your yarn already rolled into balls. If you like, it is ok to cast on 48 stitches and (being careful not to twist), join into a circle and purl a few stitches or the whole first row.

What skills or knowledge do students need to take this workshop?
For the confident knitter who wants to learn brioche. You must be familiar with Knitting and Purling, YO and K2tog/P2tog. (Not for magic loop method, which complicates things for beginners).

Heidi Sunday is a former yarn shop owner who is now retired, but loves to share her love of knit/crochet and tatting with others. She lives in Mobile Alabama and is originally from California, by way of New York City, and is an Italian by choice, in spite of about 6 other nationalities by birth.
