About Djembé 101: Groove and Sounds
During this session, we will cover a fun, simple traditional West African rhythm on the djembé, complete with a short introduction, the main groove, a variation, and an ending. You will learn fundamental djembé technique and how to produce the three basic sounds (bass, tone, and slap) properly. The class is open to all levels and beginner drummers are welcome!
