Ecoprint on Leather-Naturally and in Color

About Ecoprint on Leather-Naturally and in Color

Join us for a one-day workshop where you'll learn to ecoprint on lamb and sheepskin leather. Ecoprinting (or botanical printing) involves collecting leaves, plants, and flowers to imprint their images directly onto leather using techniques taught in the class.
By the end of the workshop, students will take home two samples (approximately 8” x 18”) of ecoprinted leather: one naturally ecoprinted and one in color, along with the skills to continue their creative process at home. Instructor will showcase finished examples of leather products for student inspiration.

The capacity for this class is 16 students.

Fun additional plants (usually store bought) are live eucalyptus and daisy type flowers. No thick or waxy plants although stems attached to leaves are fine. Fresh or pressed or dry. Dry leaves will be re-hydrated.
