About Embroider Anything on Your Knit & Crochet
Bring a couple of swatches (or just one), and learn how to easily embroider on your knit or crochet. I will provide transfers to use for embroidery.
The capacity for this class is 12 students.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Swatches, DMC embroidery threads desired (I do provide these as well).
Materials Fee and Description
Your class registration fee includes materials with a value of $5 consisting of:
I provide a variety of stitch/design transfers and threads/needles to be used in class.
Pre-class Homework
Please bring at least one swatch, in Worsted or DK weight yarn, either knit or crochet, approx 6x6 inches in a smooth knit or crochet as follows:
Worsted H-8 hook or needles 6-7, DK E-F hook or needles 4-5. Usually 36-40 stitches across is fine, and you can start with a garterstitch edge on the bottom for a few rows, and 4-5 stitch garterstitch borders on the sides and top if you want to help prevent curling on the knit. We will be practicing embroidery using special paper I will provide to learn the technique and a few embroidery stitches if you don't already know them.

Heidi Sunday is a former yarn shop owner who is now retired, but loves to share her love of knit/crochet and tatting with others. She lives in Mobile Alabama and is originally from California, by way of New York City, and is an Italian by choice, in spite of about 6 other nationalities by birth.
