Felted Wrist-warmers
About Felted Wrist-warmers
Students will wet-felt a cozy pair of wrist-warmers that will not only enhance their ensemble but add warmth in cooler fall weather! We'll use wool fibers, curly mohair, lustrous bamboo, and sparkly Angelina fibers to make the cuffs in each student's personal color palette. Students will learn lots of felting techniques including how to make pre-felt, how to make a button loop, and how to felt wool beads for the closure, an art that can also be used to make unique jewelry! A fun and easy class, great for both beginners and the more experienced felter.
The capacity for this class is 20 students.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Apron or old shirt for wet-felting, towel, heavy-duty rubber gloves (kitchen gloves)
Materials Fee and Description
Your class registration fee includes materials with a value of $25 consisting of:
Fibers, embellishments, pattern + directions, use of instructor's felting tools
Pre-class Homework
No homework prior to class.
