Flamenco for Beginner Guitarists

About Flamenco for Beginner Guitarists

Did you get a new guitar for Christmas? Is the guitar you started playing during the pandemic begging to be picked up again? Looking for an exotic new genre to inspire and motivate you?

Flamenco is a passionate and fiery music that evolved in southern Spain (Andalucia). The flamenco guitar initially served as an accompaniment tool for singing and dance and gradually evolved into a complex solo instrument of its own. Learning flamenco is a terrific way to explore the basics elements of guitar-playing in a unique and inspiring musical context.

This course is especially designed to be accessible for new guitarists. You’ll learn how to develop proper technique and practice habits from day one. The fundamentals taught in this course will prepare you well for further studies in classical, fingerstyle, or more flamenco as you continue your guitar journey.

You’ll end the course with a collection of basic exercises and five short, easy solos of authentic flamenco repertoire.

This class is limited to 20 students.
