About Get Wired! Adding Armiture to your Felting

Ready to move to the next level of felting? In this workshop students will learn how to add arms and legs to your felted objects by making a small animal such as a sheep or goat. We will discuss tools, wire sizes, proportions, and stiffening for horns or hooves. Some experience needle felting is required.

The capacity for this class is 12 students.


Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class

Students may want to bring a picture of a sheep or goat that they would like to make. This is suggested but not required.

Beth Collier has been spinning and felting for over 20 years. Beth does a variety of fiber arts including felting, spinning and bobbin lace. Her business, The Little Shop of Fibers sells Kromski Products, felting supplies, bobbin lace supplies and Shetland wool and yarn. When not spinning or felting she enjoys gardening and her grandchildren. thelittleshopoffibers@gmail.
