About Needle Felted Owl

This needle felted owl allows you to learn many different needle felting techniques! In this workshop you will master the creation of texture, building parts of your owl on your work surface and then adding it to your project and using a simple wire armature for the wings.

small scissors, small pliers (needle nose is best) and work surface (foam, etc.)

How It Works

Register and enroll above. Enrollment is not complete until payment is made on the next page, by credit card or Paypal via our secure platform. Enrolled students will receive an immediate email confirmation of enrollment, and on the day before the seminar, a reminder with Zoom link to join the class via email. Students will also be able to join the Zoom sessions from their Lessonface dashboard. Students can connect to Zoom using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone.

Kristen Walsh

    Kristen Walsh has been involved in creative things her whole life. She has been exploring fiber for many years – first knitting, then spinning and finally felting. Kristen has been earning attention for her felting, winning prizes at the many shows and has had work selected for several publications as well as exhibits across the country. Kristen sees no end to the possibilities with felting and in recent years have published a felting book. She wants to continue exploring felting through continued teaching as well as creating her own felted art.
