About Needle Felting as Garment Repair: Make Patches, Pockets, and More
Needle felting is so fun and easy, but even better, it can be used as a functional (and beautiful!) way to patch holes in sweaters, add pockets to bags or jackets, or just as a beautiful wall hanging piece of art while you decide if it needs anything else! Learn 2D felting and how to paint pictures with wool. Abstract, botanical, and organic designs work best!
The capacity for this class is 15 students.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Any vision enhancers needed (magnification, reading glasses, etc). Note taking materials. If you have them, bring any holey sweaters or jackets that need patching, bring any felted object that needs decoration (like slippers or hats)-- not required.
Materials Kit and Kit Description
Your class registration fee includes a materials kit with a value of $15 which includes:
Needles, wool roving, foam pads (students may keep these)

Jessica Kaufman is the owner/founder of Asheville's WAXON Batik & Dye Studio. With a genuine love of teaching (and a Masters in Crafts Education!) she leads classes on ice dyeing, tie-dye, batik, and Shibori virtually and all over the East coast.
