About Selftaping 101 Workshop
Selftape auditions are part of the actor’s process, now more than ever. Are you still unsure if your at-home setup is correct? How much gear do you really need to invest in? Do you wish someone from the casting side could just explain what they’re really looking for?
Learn from someone on the inside.
Actor Krista Jang will break down her personal home studio, where she has booked numerous film/TV/commercials for herself and other actors. In addition to acting and coaching, she has over a decade of experience working in the casting room in Toronto and Vancouver. From tech, tips, tricks and techniques, this 60 minute virtual workshop will guide actors through the selftape audition with the casting eye in mind.
We'll focus on the technical side of auditions, because on-screen acting is a visual medium, and auditioning is a unique skill of its own. This is especially beneficial to those who aren't as tech-savvy, who has little to no experience with the in-person audition room, or who wants to learn more from the casting perspective. Learn the rules to break the rules.

This workshop is ideal for Actors of all levels and ages, including Parents (who are often the reader/coach/tech support for their kids).
