Sleeve Alternations with Kate Atherley
About Sleeve Alternations with Kate Atherley
Sleeve style and fit are crucial elements of what makes a garment just right! This session is a very focused discussion about alterations to sleeves in garment patterns. We’ll talk about everything from adjusting stitch patterns (or fit) for the cuff, to measuring for and fine-tuning sleeve length, all the way to adjusting the fit at the bicep. We’ll share tips for making sure you’re choosing a good garment pattern to begin with, that makes the alterations easy.
