Spin a Sweater’s Worth
About Spin a Sweater’s Worth
Tackle the big one with Spin a Sweater's Worth!
You're ready to take on a big project, but looking for guidelines? Look no further. We will discuss how to approach your sweater, blanket, poncho, or other large project to reach success. We will look at choosing the fiber, making sure you have enough, how to spin the yarn you want for your project, maintaining consistency, and even a little on time management.
Let's get you started!!!
Supplies, Equipment & Materials Needed for Class
• Pencil and paper for note-taking; this is as much of discussion class as it is a spinning class
• The pattern and fiber you plan to use, if you already have them at hand, or fiber/patterns you have questions about.
• Information on (or better yet, sample of) the commercial yarn your pattern calls for, if you have some.
• It is possible there might be some demo spinning to address your questions in class so you may want to have a spinning tool at the ready for trying out techniques, or to illustrate any questions you have.
