Cael Chappell
Cael Chappell worked with basket weavers across Africa from 1991 to present. In 2017 he started weaving his own baskets, primarily using waxed linen thread and a technique called twining. Because of his extensive understanding of basketry, he quickly developed his own unique style of whimsical weaving. His baskets exhibit personality and life which engages viewers.
