Twig Weaving ~ Blending Nature with Art
Join me as we blend Nature with Art in this fun, and sometimes challenging art form! This class is not about perfection; it’s about relaxing and allowing yourself to play with fiber and have a little fun! You will learn how to weave directly onto the branch, integrating fibers and movement as you go.
You will learn how to:
• Choose the right branch for success
• Warp onto the branch
• Weave solids, stripes, and sections
• Neatly finish the back of your work
• Relax and allow yourself to create!
The capacity for this class is 8 students.

Your class registration fee includes materials with a value of $25 consisting of:
all materials needed for this project, weaving needles, handouts, high-quality yarns, and a branch
Pre-class Homework
No homework prior to class.

Refund Policy: To cancel an enrollment or request a refund, contact [email protected]. For 30+ days before, we refund 95%. Between 30 and 5 days, receive a 75% refund. No refunds within 5 days of class start date.

Betty Ann Winters
Betty Ann Winters is a fiber artist working primarily in Nuno felting. At times she incorporates stitching and weaving to make one-of-a-kind pieces of art made of fine wools, silks, and assorted fibers, often using vintage and upcycled fabrics. She is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild and Local Cloth in Asheville, NC.
