About Watercolor Painting HOLIDAY CARD BOTANICALS Seminar
Join us for this botanical holiday card making class led by Allison Maletz. This workshop will focus on creating and painting your own holiday cards using watercolors from winter themed botanicals. It will prove valuable to both beginners and those returning to painting. If you love holiday cardmaking, this 90-minute workshop is for you!

The class was great. I was surprised at how much Allison could cover in 40 minutes. I learned new tips and a new technique, and made a pretty nice little painting in that short time. I'd call myself an 'advanced beginner' so I have a lot to still learn and would enjoy more of these.

Allison Maletz
Allison Maletz is a contemporary large-scale watercolor and mixed media artist. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, London. She has taught people from age 8-80 and currently leads watercolor, drawing, illustration and professional practices for artists classes. She teaches at Marymount Manhattan College, The 92nd St Y, The Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Parsons The New School University. She has also had the pleasure of giving artist lectures and demonstrations at countless institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, Stony Brook University, Pepperdine University, Lyme Academy College Of Fine Arts, College Of New Rochel...
