Cally Booker lives and weaves in Dundee on the east coast of Scotland. From 2018 – 2021 she was a contributor to the Aural Textiles project, capturing the sounds of the Scottish landscape and investigating ways of using them to inspire textile design in solo and collaborative projects. Beth began weaving in 1970. She is a student of Norman Kennedy, has had two extensive stays in Japan to study folk textiles, and holds an MFA in textiles from Georgia State University. A Folk School instructor since 1983, Beth currently lives in western North Carolina, where she weaves and teaches. She completed yoga teacher training through Asheville Yoga Center in 2011.

I originally studied fashion design in Tokyo, where I was raised, and worked as a costumer before I started to make fiberart. My work is a mixture of fiber techniques and book arts techniques. They are in collections at many universities, such asYale, Princeton, and SDAC, and have been exhibited across the US and Europe.

Sheryl Kessler attended the University of the Arts and graduated from Philadelphia University (Jefferson University). She has taught privately and at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Continuing Education program. Sheryl has been working with textiles since 1984 beginning with machine knitting.

KATE ATHERLEY is an internationally known knitting author, teacher, and editor. Her latest book, Custom-Fit Hats is her ninth, and the fourth in a series on customizing projects for perfect fit and style; it joins works on shawls, socks, and mittens.

Amy Shelton is a fiber artist, instructor, and crochet designer. For the last eight years, she has owned SPARKLE Studio, a working and teaching fiber arts studio and local yarn shop located at the historic Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, AL. She is an expert crocheter who has been crocheting since the age of 9.

Charan Sachar is an artist whose work reflects his passion for the fiber arts, like knitting, spinning, weaving, quilting and he uses it as an inspiration for his clay work. In all the fields that he works in, he loves to accept challenges and approach the making with a “what if..” attitude.
