Learn from Great Clarinet Teachers

Tim Veeder is a professional saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, composer, arranger and educator based in the New York, NY area. Born and raised in the small upstate NY town of Gloversville, Tim Veeder picked up his first saxophone at the age of 11.

Originally from a tiny town in the Sierra Foothills in Northern California, I started taking piano lessons at the age of 9. Through the school band I picked up the clarinet and bass clarinet, and in high school my curiosity got the best of my and I learned how to play my grandpa’s cornet using a fingering chart printed from the Internet.

I like to work within the Jazz and Brazilian music styles. Besides developing reading skills, improvisation theory and creativity, I stimulate students to learn by heart the repertoire. Every week we study a new tune, memorize it, improvise on it and analyze its melody an harmony.

I am Taiwanese and have been playing the clarinet for over 20 years! I love art, music, travel, and psychology. I consider myself an open-minded person and enjoy talking to people from different cultural and personal backgrounds. I am quite organized and responsible, and I believe that working with me should be a positive experience!

******Not currently accepting new students****** Having graduated from The University of Iowa in 2010 with a degree in Percussion Performance and Music Education, Rob has been teaching both privately and in classrooms for over a decade.

I graduated from The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London in 2018, with a degree in Jazz performance (saxophone). I received a first class (honours) and 'Final Recital Diploma' and I'm now performing throughout Europe as a band leader for The Goodbye Look and Sam Knight Quintet and as a sideman in a variety of other projects and ensembles, ranging in genre.

Hello, my name is Miloš, Misha for short. I am a dedicated and accomplished Clarinet Professor with a passion for nurturing the talents of aspiring clarinetists. I hold a MA degree in Music Performance from the Academy of Art in Novi Sad. During my studies besides perfecting my clarinet skills, I took numerous courses in musical education, pedagogy and teaching methodology.

Santiago Lurueña studied at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Badajoz under Professor Alfonso Pineda, Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen, with Annelien van Wauwe, and early music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels under the guidance of Benjamin Dieltjens and Nicola Boud.

Atanas Marinov is an exceptional clarinetist who impresses with his mastery and dedication to music, as a fourth-generation musician in his family. Born in 1989 in Sofia, Bulgaria, he grew up in an environment rich in music and culture, which shaped his love for classical music and his determination to excel in this art.
