Rich Degnars or “Mr. Rich,” as referred to by many of his students, is a performing drummer, educator, recording artist and music producer. He currently performs regularly around his hometown of Wilmington DE. He’ll go as far as his van can take him! (For the right compensation of course).

I am a drummer, percussionist, composer, and teacher living in Boston, MA. Growing up in the culturally rich music scene of Philadelphia, from an early age I was drawn to music of all kinds. I quickly became immersed in the worlds of Afro-Cuban music, Arabic music, jazz, and underground rock.

Born in a Maharashtrian family, I entered the learning tabla at the age of 10. Being a disciple of many Tabla gurus I gained a profound knowledge of Ajrada Gharana. In the beginning, I was not developing an interest in tabla until I started to participate in district competitions. There a spark of success embraced me from which I started to take tabla seriously.

Played drums since the age of 7 years old. Mother was choir director & church organist. Played in Fife and drum corps. DCI Drum & Bugle corps. DCI drum quartet champs. ( USR Imperial Knights). Played at 1963 worlds fair with the Teemates R&R Group to a crowd of 10,000. Studied with Sonny Igoe, in NY ,( CBS Orch, Benny Goodman, Merv.

Chris Lee As a composer, vibraphonist and drummer Chris Lee brings a distinct perspective to his music. He attended Marylhurst College and Portland State University, where he was a member of the percussion ensemble under the direction of Tomas Svoboda.
