About Fall in Love with Your Flute Tone
Flute tone is probably the most important aspect of flute playing. Without a beautiful tone, you could have the fastest fingers and play the most complicated pieces, but no one would want to listen to you!
Yet it is also one of the most challenging areas of flute playing. How do you get your tone to sound less airy? Why are you struggling to get clean high notes? Why do I sound so screechy? What is up with the low register?
In this workshop, we walk through the fundamentals of flute tone. We break it down, step-by-step to help you overcome some of these challenges and find your own special 'flute voice' that you can fall in love with!
In the first half of the workshop, Tatiana will guide you through a series of exercises and explorations to help you understand and refine your flute tone. In the second half of the workshop, she will take some time to work with a few participants in a type of 'masterclass', further deepening your understanding of how to apply the fundamentals of principles to your playing.
This workshop is particularly good for any students who are struggling to improve their tone and need a fresh perspective. However, as it covers many of the fundamentals of tone production, it is also very useful for beginner players!

Enrolled students receive lifetime access to the video recording of the class.

This was a FANTASTIC class!!! I learned things I never knew and I have been playing for 50 years! I can't believe no one ever taught me the right way to get a nice tone on the flute. I have been working with the tips from the class and heard a definite improvement in my tone almost immediately. I wish I could have had the opportunity to learn this information many years ago!!!
