About Make Batik Fabric with Woodblocks and Beeswax (B)
Learn the craft of wax resist dyeing on fabric with these very special hand-carved wood blocks. Your instructor trained with woodblock batik masters in Gujarat, India, and is bringing 20+ stamps for you to use in your own work. Beeswax, fiber reactive dyes, and cotton cloth are the other main ingredients. Create gorgeous, unique fabrics in under 4 hours!
The capacity for this class is 8 students.

Materials Kit and Kit Description
Your class registration fee includes a materials kit with a value of $30 which includes:
Beeswax, dye, use of stamps, soda ash, and prepared fabric.
Pre-class Homework
After class, students will take home their dyed fabrics to cure and wash out. They will then remove the wax from their pieces following the detailed instructions given in class. For a $25 fee, instructor will process pieces for students and ship them home.
