About Intro To Brioche
Join us for a warm, cozy adventure into two-color brioche knitting! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the fundamental brioche knit and brioche purl stitches while creating a gorgeous, chunky cowl. We’ll take it step by step, building your confidence with this plush, reversible technique.
And don’t worry - along the way, you’ll pick up essential trouble-shooting skills to keep your project flowing smoothly. By the end, you’ll walk away with new skills, a squishy cowl, and plenty of inspiration for your next brioche creation.
What will students learn:
Two-color brioche knitting in the round and troubleshooting skills to make the project a success

• 100 yds/91 m Bulky weight yarn for MC
• 100 yds/91 m Bulky weight yarn for CC
• 16”/41 cm US Size 11/8.0 mm circular needles
• Stitch Marker
• Tapestry Needle

Using MC, cast on 71 stitches using Twisted German cast on or other stretchy cast on. See

She always has at least one of each in progress. Based in Durham, NC, Amie loves teaching for local yarn shops and regional fiber festivals.
