Handouts

Pre-class Homework

One swatch, blocked. Using a solid, light-colored, smooth, worsted weight 100% wool yarn, cast on 30 sts with appropriate needles (size 7 or 8 will work for most knitters.)
Work 5” of stockinette st (knit one row, purl one row). Bind off. Don't weave in your ends. Please block your swatch before class. (Ideally, soak in lukewarm water, then lay it flat to dry, uncurling the edges and pinning square – without stretching the swatch.)
