About Mini Tapestry Weaving

Using simple, accessible materials, including some you may already have at home, you’ll create a beautiful mini tapestry to hang on a naturally fallen wooden branch. With step by step guidance and room for personal expression, you’ll leave with a one of a kind piece of fiber art and the inspiration to keep weaving.

There are no materials that need to be brought by the students. However, students are welcome to bring yarn from home if they have yarn they would like to use.

What skills or knowledge do students need to take this workshop?

This is a beginner-friendly workshop open to crafters of all levels with no prior weaving experience required. The most challenging part of the process may be tying tight knots, but the instructor will provide hands on support and guidance throughout. All you need is an interest in fiber art and a willingness to try something new!

My journey with textile arts began as a personal exploration, and now I’m excited to share my passion through teaching. In my Small Tapestry Weaving Workshop, I guide students step-by-step through the basics of weaving, using simple, everyday materials like cardboard looms and household tools.
