Pin-Loom Weaving with Angela Tong

About Pin-Loom Weaving with Angela Tong

Learn to weave on the go! Small, portable pin looms make it easy to take your weaving anywhere, and they’re perfect for using up those colorful odds and ends in your yarn stash. Inspired by Angela’s Creative Pin-Loom Designs video with Long Thread Media, this class teaches you the essentials of pin-loom weaving. You’ll learn how to warp the loom , weave your squares , and seam them together to create simple, satisfying projects. Whether you’re brand-new to weaving or looking for a fun, stash-busting technique, this workshop offers an easy, portable way to enjoy weaving wherever you are.

Supplies, Equipment & Materials Needed for Class

• 4" Pin Loom (3-pin-style pin loom, such as Zoom Loom or Weavette)
• 6" weaving needle
• 3" yarn needle
• Scissors
• A variety of DK to worsted-weight yarns in wool or wool blends. Choose fibers with good elasticity—avoid cotton. Each square uses approximately 8 yards, so leftover yarn and scraps work perfectly.
