Clasped Warp and Clasped Weft Scarf
About Clasped Warp and Clasped Weft Scarf
Discover the beauty of combining clasped warp and clasped weft in a single, eye-catching scarf. In this session, you’ll learn how to create striking, flowing patterns that seem to dance across the fabric—while discovering just how approachable these techniques can be. We’ll cover effective warping for success, loom setup for clasped techniques, and practical weaving tips to help you maintain even warp tension and achieve beautiful results.
During this two-hour tutorial, Deborah will demonstrate each technique step by step, clearly explaining how to achieve them. Close-up video segments will guide you through the entire process, and questions are encouraged throughout the session. While you won’t be weaving during class, you’ll be able to fully engage in the discussion, ask questions, and then follow along with the video afterward as you create your project at home.
If interested, kits are available from Cotton Clouds that include the yarn needed for the project.
The capacity for this class is 25 students.
