Hand Bound Books with Button Closures
Hand Bound Books with Button Closures with Lesley Patterson-Marx
Are there buttons in your collection that you've been saving for a special occasion? This may be the perfect opportunity to highlight these treasures as design features in a lovely trio of books that you bind by hand. All skill levels are invited to explore the possibilities of buttons as closures for Linked Longstitch, Buttonhole Stitch, and Buttonhole Stitch with Slotted Wrapper book structures. This class would pair well with the button making classes offered through The Folk School online!
This small group class is presented in collaboration with John C. Campbell Folk School and Lessonface. Participants should enroll at least two weeks before start to ensure materials kits arrive in time. If registering after this point, your kit may arrive after the first session. Students are invited to attend an optional Orientation and Closing Ceremony to connect with various online Folk School classes.
