Then UKULELE IS FUN AND EASY is for you! Join this group of like-minded beginner adults that is taught by a teacher with over 25 years of experience!
Ukulele has quickly become one of the most popular instruments of the 21st century! It requires very low cost to get started, is a light and portable instrument, and is super fun and easy to add to any ensemble of musicians. Also, we can play any song in any style on ukulele, because of its versatility.
This class is geared towards Adult Beginners. We will learn basics like: How to tune, how to hold the uke and use your hands and fingers properly. Then, we will learn how to play chords and strumming techniques. Finally, we will learn fun and popular songs together as a class.
The capacity for this class is 20 students.
Class Goals
- GOAL 1: Learn the Basics of hand and fingering techniques, as well as answering all questions about getting started.
- GOAL 2: Learn how to play multiple chords with the intent of applying that knowledge to multiple songs
- GOAL 3: Learn multiple strum techniques and rhythms , combining the knowledge with the chords, to learn songs.
- GOAL 4: Play your favorite songs!
