Background Checks for Teachers Outside the US

In order to have the Background Checked badge added to your profile, Lessonface needs to process a background check in your name.

Teachers that have a US SSN number can apply for one here.

Because the process varies in each country, Lessonface isn’t able to provide the background check for teachers that don’t have a US SSN. Teachers interested in having the Background Checked badge added to their profile can provide us with a background check from any reputable provider. In order to verify document authenticity, your background check must come with a numeric or alphanumeric code that our staff can type into the provider’s website. Many companies provide this kind of interface and we recommend contacting their support department before running the background check to avoid unnecessary expenses.
