Celtic Harp for St. Patrick’s Day!

Lorinda Jones came to Lessonface through our wonderful partnership with John C. Campbell Folk School. Lorinda has been a student favorite on Lessonface since 2020, teaching both Harp and Dulcimer, and is our teacher spotlight for the month of March. She has also very graciously put together a Celtic Harp tutorial just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

In this video, Lorinda gives an overview of the Celtic Harp and the Cardboard Harp or Lever Harp. She breaks down the Irish Folk Song MacFarlane’s Lament and instructs how to play it on the harp.
