Jazzing Up the Recorder

In this video tutorial, Berklee alumna Tali Rubinstein defies the "normal" experience of playing recorder, with backing by Yonit Spiegelman on bass. Every person who can recall picking up a recorder in music class in elementary school should prepare to have his or her mind blown by the versatility that Tali demonstrates with this familiar instrument, especially as she describes and shows some differences between jazz and classical playing. You may find yourself looking for a recorder to start exploring the possibilities.
