Open Mic Nights for 2020

Lessonface hosted its first live online Open Mic Nights earlier this month! Experiencing the live performance of students and teachers happening from all over the world in the welcoming setting provided by the hosts Leah Kruszewski (pictured above) and Yonit Spiegelman was super-cool. Our trial run of this new community event was great, so we will be hosting monthly open mics on an ongoing basis. 

The next open mic will be on Sunday, February 23, starting at 2 pm ET, and Friday, February 28 at 8 pm ET. The Open Mics will continue on the last Sunday of each month and more evening dates to be added as we go. Learn more about how it works and sign up here!

• It's free to the Lessonface community.
• Both teachers and students are welcome to perform.
• The open mic will be recorded, but we will not share the recordings other than with the participant (if they ask us) or with express permission.
• Enroll for the event ahead of time to get reminders and updates, sign up to perform during the live session

With permission from her parent, we present below the wonderful performance of classical guitar student Nandita, who has been taking guitar lessons on Lessonface with Leah Kruszewski for 4.5 years, spanning a move by her family between countries.

It was so fun to get a "Lessonface fam" jam together! I am taking some fresh lessons myself in hopes of stepping up for a future one.
