Regarding Ms Anna

If you are a teacher on Lessonface who received the message from Ms Anna this afternoon I apologize for the bother with the spam. The user responsible has been blocked from the site, and I wanted to note that here on the blog.

Many thanks to everyone who reported it. We have a few spam protections in place already, but they're clearly missing some, so we're working on making it easier to report any weird messages teachers receive. Thankfully these have been pretty few and far between so far (and such messages don't make it to the students, since students don't have a public facing profile and are only able to be messaged by Lessonface staff and the site-approved teachers).

In the meantime don't hesitate to forward us odd messages or reach out if you ever see anything amiss with the Lessonface site.
