Tips and Techniques with Sara Landeau

Educator and guitarist from the Julie Ruin Sara Landeau is teaching her Chicks with Picks group guitar class on Lessonface starting September 28th, and also has openings for a few private students this fall! An inspirational player and teacher who first came to Lessonface by way of a student referral, Sara has performed extensively with the Julie Ruin, studied at Juilliard, the New School, Columbia University, and taught at the college level, to hundreds of students privately, and at the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls.

Sara stopped by the Lessonface studio last week to show us some of her tips and techniques, which we captured in a video that you can watch below. Get her advice on the best guitar for beginners, how to practice to get to a point where you can play and sing simultaneously, and more.
