Arpeggios

When creating a bass line you can either noodle around until you find the notes that you're looking for, or build one with a knowledge of music theory.  Either way could potentially yield a great bass line where you find the notes you hear in your head, but knowing music theory can definitely yield quicker results, and is definitely better for any situation that involves improvising and jamming.   I'd love if you  would check out this bass line I made over an Am to C chord progression.  It's simple yet effective and works especially well when you lock in with the kick drum.  After keeping it simple for a couple of bars I went into a slap groove that  was still mainly focused on the arpeggios, but also used some notes out of the pentatonic scale.  If you're interested in learning more about making bass lines, please consider hitting me up for some lessons.  Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0dO7JoCjyw
