are you new to the upright bass? When I first started playing the upright bass I had already spent many years playing electric. Our role in the low-end is very similiar from electric to upright however the technique to getting a nice and full tone differs widely. I've spent over half my life playing the upright and have come up with many tools for getting the tone you want out of the upright and how to build strength and flexibility on this wild and large instruments.
