Platform Updates from the Past Month

Our hardworking site development team made many improvements to our new beta in September, including some updates just last night. Huge thanks to all of our community members who have reached out with feedback since we first introduced the new version of our beta in mid-August. Your feedback is very helpful to make sure the platform works well for everyone!

Here are a few of the issues that were addressed in the last month:

• Calendar sync option was added so users can easily share their Lessonface activities to Google Calendar, iCal, and Outlook (to access, click the icon shown at the bottom right of your Dashboard Schedule, also seen in bottom right of the screengrab at the top of this post)
• Calendar feed information was revised to be easier to see at a glance
• Lesson recordings were made available in both gallery and active speaker views
• Lesson notes are now editable, more accessible on smaller devices, and the text is easier to select and modify
• Teachers' referral attributions are more clearly marked
• Messages can now contain Youtube links
• Gift cards were updated for improved functionality
• Group class discussions and materials access was enhanced
• Search options within dashboard, lessons, and contacts pages was improved
• Mobile version improved for menu access, lesson invitation creation, and checkout process

If you haven’t tried the Beta recently, it’s a great time to give it a go. You can find the Beta option towards the bottom of the main menu (pictured towards the bottom left in the screengrab above). If you see any room for further improvement, we welcome your feedback in the survey that should appear on the right hand side of the dashboard, with the Quick Contact button, or by email to [email protected]. We hope you like it, and if you don't, you can still switch back to the legacy version of the platform the same way.
