How to Live a Creative Life. Creative Exercises to Break Routine and Unlock New Ideas

I just had my first lesson with Idrise and I am very excited to move forward with him. He immediately put me at ease and wanted to hear to learn about who I was as a musician and my personal goals. He then seamlessly moved our conversation into a personal assessment that made me feel seen and understood. By the end of the session I had several tools and exercises that addressed my actual concerns and I felt very comfortable with implementing. The icing on the cake was that he later sent long detailed notes of our session including all I mentioned earlier. I feel confident that if I put the work in, my voice control and overall performance will improve. I would highly recommend Idris to anyone who loves voice and wants to improve as a performer.
Nadia is an excellent vocal instructor. I'm a professional musician with decades of experience, and I also teach music myself, so I know what to look for in a teacher — and I'd struggled to find the right fit for taking my own vocals to the next level. After reading her bio, I looked up her music online and was genuinely impressed by her performing ability; her vocal delivery is stellar. But being a great performer doesn't automatically make someone a great teacher, so I went into my first lesson to find out. What I found was a teacher who was prepared and had clearly done her homework. I'd sent her a link to some of my recordings ahead of time, and she'd taken the time to listen, so she already had a sense of who I was and what I was looking for before we even started. I'm excited to keep working with her and have already booked my next lesson. I'd highly recommend Nadia as a vocal instructor.
Wow, found a great teacher in Ryo! He got me playing a song from the first meeting. I am an adult learner who hasn't played an instrument before, so learning something new can be intimidating. But I had zero awkwardness and was able to jump right in thanks to Ryo's personable and personalized approach. He is clear, calm and very positive. Now today I just logged off my first lesson with him and have a lot of confidence and optimism too. Made my day in fact. I've got very clear homework with some support materials and feel set up for success. Before I found him I had been trying to learn Ukulele over YouTube and it was leaving me feeling pretty scattered in the end. Ryo is a true professional with a lot of experience, I am grateful I found him. Highly recommend!
Nolan really enjoyed his first lesson with Corey. The lesson was engaging, and he took the time to get acquainted with him and his interests in order to customize the methods and music to most benefit Nolan's development.
My alto sax lessons with Alex were great. He's such a calm and sweet person. I had such a good time that I'd often lose track of time during our lessons. The tips and techniques he shared on improvisation were especially useful, and he helped me look at music from an angle I'd never considered before. Highly recommend lessons with him!

What is Lessonface?
How do online Music lessons work?
What is the best method for learning Music ?
We're biased, of course, but at Lessonface we believe the best way to learn Music is through one-on-one lessons. Personalized instruction means your teacher can tailor every lesson to your goals, learning style, and skill level. Online group classes can also be a great way to make learning fun and social. Learning Music online makes it easy to stay consistent, which is essential to steady progress.
There are plenty of apps and YouTube videos out there to help with learning Music, but most teachers agree that those resources work best as supplements to, not replacements for, one-on-one instruction. A skilled Music teacher can identify bad habits before they become ingrained, help you focus on what matters most, and solve problems as soon as they arise, often saving you months of frustration and wasted practice time. The bottom line? A real teacher accelerates your progress and keeps you on the right path from day one.
How do I find the best teacher for me for Music lessons?
With over 100 qualified Music teachers who have together earned an average of 4.99 out of 5 stars over 38554 lesson reviews by verified students, you can be sure to find a great instructor at Lessonface.
