Benita is so kind, patient, and encouraging! I was a bit self-conscious about playing for someone for the first time in years, but she always started her comments with a compliment and made me feel good about my skills! I'm excited to continue learning with her.
Lance, is an exceptional coach. He is very good at what he does and is very inviting. He understands the voice at very high level, with only two lessons he has improved my voice more than 6 months of practicing on my own. Anyone that is looking at getting lessons, get Lance. You won't regret it.
Another fantastic lesson with Steve. He is a true gentleman who cares about his students and his music. He is an amazing teacher and I give him my highest recommendation!
Myrto has a wonderful energy and makes the lessons really enjoyable and relaxed. I really like the warm-ups she does, and I really appreciate how much attention she pays to my needs and goals. She is very supportive and encouraging, and I feel comfortable trying new things and working on my voice with her. I’m really looking forward to continuing our lessons!
I just had my first lesson with Idrise and I am very excited to move forward with him. He immediately put me at ease and wanted to hear to learn about who I was as a musician and my personal goals. He then seamlessly moved our conversation into a personal assessment that made me feel seen and understood. By the end of the session I had several tools and exercises that addressed my actual concerns and I felt very comfortable with implementing. The icing on the cake was that he later sent long detailed notes of our session including all I mentioned earlier. I feel confident that if I put the work in, my voice control and overall performance will improve. I would highly recommend Idris to anyone who loves voice and wants to improve as a performer.

What is Lessonface?
How do online Music lessons work?
What is the best method for learning Music ?
We're biased, of course, but at Lessonface we believe the best way to learn Music is through one-on-one lessons. Personalized instruction means your teacher can tailor every lesson to your goals, learning style, and skill level. Online group classes can also be a great way to make learning fun and social. Learning Music online makes it easy to stay consistent, which is essential to steady progress.
There are plenty of apps and YouTube videos out there to help with learning Music, but most teachers agree that those resources work best as supplements to, not replacements for, one-on-one instruction. A skilled Music teacher can identify bad habits before they become ingrained, help you focus on what matters most, and solve problems as soon as they arise, often saving you months of frustration and wasted practice time. The bottom line? A real teacher accelerates your progress and keeps you on the right path from day one.
How do I find the best teacher for me for Music lessons?
With over 100 qualified Music teachers who have together earned an average of 4.99 out of 5 stars over 38395 lesson reviews by verified students, you can be sure to find a great instructor at Lessonface.
Lessonface offers free tools to help you find the ideal tutor for you or your family:
- Use the open filtering system
- Use our matching service to describe your background, scheduling preferences, and any particular goals, and qualified Music teachers will respond.
You can view teachers' bios, accolades, rates, send them a message and book lessons from their profiles.
Many teachers offer a free trial, and you can book lessons one at a time until you decide you prefer to book a bundle or subscribe, so don't hesitate to try. Teachers may also offer group classes, self-paced courses, and downloadable content, so there are more ways to get started while you're still getting acquainted with the community.
