Ages 8-12 | This weekly online kids series would serve as a way for students to use their energy, have fun and learn to improvise. This class will explore the improv basics of teamwork, listening, and scene-building through engaging games and exercises. All experience levels are welcome!.
Create Your Own Podcast!
Ages 8-12 | Louie Pearlman, a writer for Sesame Street's podcast, will help you create your own! In these fast-paced four weeks, you will take an idea for a podcast from inception to production, figuring out the style and content, while getting guidance from Louie and your fellow classmates to make your podcast the best it can be! Other than a computer, no other equipment is needed to create a podcast. So get your imagination going and enter the fast-growing and fascinating world of podcasting!
Writing Comedic Characters!
Ages 7 - 12 | Do you love goofy characters, doing silly voices, or just acting out? Then, this is the class for you! Over this four-week intensive, comedy teacher Louie Pearlman will help you take your funny ideas and make them into fully fleshed-out, hilarious characters. Through fun character creation games and writing exercises, your imagination will go wild as you create the funniest character you can come up with and bring them to life!
Just for Laughs!
Ages 8 - 12 | This class is dedicated to writing jokes and short stories. Students will engage with comedic games, joke-y warm-ups, and writing prompts, all to make their teacher and fellow students laugh! Pen and paper are highly encouraged for this class.
