I've spent a few years learning the classical guitar by myself without a teacher following various methods and was able to play pieces around level 3. At some point I've found that I couldn't progress anymore and I've decided to continue with a teacher. Long story - short, I've found Karla and couldn't be happier about my decision. She is simply great - patient, knowledgable, and very passionate about the guitar! She'd see all the little (and bigger) mistakes I'd make and tailor specific exercises in order to correct them. I'm very excited about my progress since I've started taking lessons with her and looking forward to keep learning.

I was very fortunate to have Subiksha as my instructor/voice coach. As I have never sung before Subiksha took me by the hands to teach me how to sing Western/Bollywood songs sprinkling the necessary music theory along the way and with appropriate rhythm, interval solfege and pitch exercises got me comfortable to tackle singing any song following her steps to get better at it. So I highly recommend Subiksha - and do not miss an opportunity to be coached by her!
Jacob is a talented and patient teacher. Our son is progressing nicely. Jacob is also great with communicating with us. We highly recommend him.
Jones is a joy to work with. His easy demeanor makes me feel comfortable exploring my voice and making (hilarious) mistakes. Highly recommended!
Every lesson leaves me more excited to keep learning. My instructor has an incredible ability to explain concepts in a way that just clicks, and she’s always encouraging while still challenging me to improve. She creates such a comfortable learning environment that I never feel intimidated asking questions or making mistakes. I’m making steady progress because of her patience, expertise, and positive attitude. If you’re looking for a clarinet instructor who is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your success, I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Stephanie is an extraordinarily talented, kind and patient violin teacher. I have been working with her since the Pandemic via video and have learned so much. Stephanie sees students in person as well as online via lesson face. We meet the other students in annual showings of whatever pieces that we are working on and wish to share. Stephanie has students of all ages and skill levels. I am always impressed by how Stephanie sensitively connects with each student and encourages them. Stephanie is versatile in teaching both classical music and contemporary music according to whatever motivates students. I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough.

What is Lessonface?
How do online Music lessons work?
What is the best method for learning Music ?
We're biased, of course, but at Lessonface we believe the best way to learn Music is through one-on-one lessons. Personalized instruction means your teacher can tailor every lesson to your goals, learning style, and skill level. Online group classes can also be a great way to make learning fun and social. Learning Music online makes it easy to stay consistent, which is essential to steady progress.
There are plenty of apps and YouTube videos out there to help with learning Music, but most teachers agree that those resources work best as supplements to, not replacements for, one-on-one instruction. A skilled Music teacher can identify bad habits before they become ingrained, help you focus on what matters most, and solve problems as soon as they arise, often saving you months of frustration and wasted practice time. The bottom line? A real teacher accelerates your progress and keeps you on the right path from day one.
How do I find the best teacher for me for Music lessons?
With over 100 qualified Music teachers who have together earned an average of 4.99 out of 5 stars over 38117 lesson reviews by verified students, you can be sure to find a great instructor at Lessonface.
