Collins is patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about music. The lesson was engaging, well-structured, and tailored to my interests. I especially appreciated his ear-based approach and his ability to explain concepts in a practical and accessible way. His teaching setup is also very professional, with a clear overhead view of the entire keyboard and an on-screen display showing the notes and chords as they are played, making it easy to follow along in real time. I also find it very helpful that he prepares and sends a detailed practice plan after the lesson.
Excellent First lesson. Yasmeri was very patient, cheerful and helpful. It was a very fun and enjoyable experience.
Lance is a consumate professional! He has a very nice and welcoming attitude throughout his lessons and was very engaging. He should be able to teach you something useful no matter your experience or skill level. I look forward to continuing to take more lessons with him.
Colin is great. I took lessons as a kid and have played on and off since, but never really got a solid education on music theory and the "why" behind the way music works. We've started with the basics, and Colin has an engaging and intuitive method for teaching them. Over several lessons, he's also been able to identify the strengths I do have and work with them. I wish my childhood teacher taught scales the way Colin does! He is very passionate about music and it comes through in the way that he teaches. Never judgmental or harsh, you just get the sense that he's trying to share his love of piano and music in general. I'd recommend him to anyone of any age and experience level!
I had my first cello lesson and came away feeling very encouraged. Mrs. Woodworth was incredibly patient, supportive, and easy to learn from. When she noticed that the pace felt a little too fast for me, she was very understanding and adjusted her teaching to make sure I felt comfortable and confident. I especially appreciated that she provided several practice options for me to choose from, along with follow-up materials to work on between lessons. She introduced new concepts in a way that was easy to understand and made learning feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I'm looking forward to continuing my cello journey with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging teacher.

What is Lessonface?
How do online Music lessons work?
What is the best method for learning Music ?
We're biased, of course, but at Lessonface we believe the best way to learn Music is through one-on-one lessons. Personalized instruction means your teacher can tailor every lesson to your goals, learning style, and skill level. Online group classes can also be a great way to make learning fun and social. Learning Music online makes it easy to stay consistent, which is essential to steady progress.
There are plenty of apps and YouTube videos out there to help with learning Music, but most teachers agree that those resources work best as supplements to, not replacements for, one-on-one instruction. A skilled Music teacher can identify bad habits before they become ingrained, help you focus on what matters most, and solve problems as soon as they arise, often saving you months of frustration and wasted practice time. The bottom line? A real teacher accelerates your progress and keeps you on the right path from day one.
How do I find the best teacher for me for Music lessons?
With over 100 qualified Music teachers who have together earned an average of 4.99 out of 5 stars over 37210 lesson reviews by verified students, you can be sure to find a great instructor at Lessonface.
