This class walks students through what they need to know about becoming professional working musicians. We will discuss things from networking and building relationships with our community, how to put your website and press materials together, and how to have "good luck" in your career.

Gina Benalcázar López
Gina Benalcázar López is an Ecuadorian-Honduran-American composer and low brass specialist. Influenced by straight-ahead jazz, latin-jazz, and popular Latin American music, Gina has performed with and arranged/composed for various size bands ranging in style from Classical Chamber to Jazz Big Band and Salsa Bands.
