At our Saturday Lunchtime Lecture with Dawn Hoeg of Stitch Buffalo, hear the story of what led her to begin working with refugee women artisans in her community–and how that experiment in community building through simple hand embroidery gradually transformed into a diverse and thriving textile arts center. Learn more about Stitch Bufflao at https://www.stitchbuffalo.org/.

Join us for our Sunday Lunchtime Lecture with Jane Dunnewold. In 2021 we rallied because we had gotten through what turned out to be the initial year of the pandemic. Now, in 2023, we have the benefit of hindsight. What are the lessons gleaned from recasting our lives post-Covid–and what paradoxes have we encountered that will require deep listening and a commitment to bringing everyone to the table in our creative community? There is always more work to be done and new insights to embrace. Our collective creative fuel is essential to our success. Visit Jane's website at https://www.janedunnewold.com/.

Do you know all there is to know about fiber (or just lots of fun fiber trivia)? Then join us for Fiber Trivia Night with Jen Weber during the Saturday Evening Drop-in. Look for a sign up form in June for those who want to participate for prizes, and everyone is welcome to follow along informally too. Find Jen at https://cleverbunnystudio.com/.

Need to relax before or after a long day of Zoom? Enjoy Yoga For Crafters, Saturday and Sunday morning, and Saturday afternoon. No downward dog here! Craftsperson and yoga instructor (and MAFA instructor) Gigi Matthews will lead us through a gentle style of yoga where breathing is the foundation and the movements can be done from a seated position. Gigi will help us relax those tired muscles through movements that reduce the effects of prolonged sitting and neck stress, in late-afternoon sessions. Learn more about Gigi on her website https://yogaforpeoplewhothinktheycantdoyogacom.wordpress.com/.

At the end of the Mini, join us for a Closing Session with Show & Tell of what we learned over the weekend.

This class is limited to 500 students.
