About Composing Electronic Music with GarageBand
This online workshop is an introduction to composing electronic music using GarageBand. Garageband is a FREE application that is available for all Apple computers, tablets, and phones. With this DAW, it is easy to create music on the spot no matter where you are and regardless of how much you know about music theory.
The version I will be highlighting is the desktop or laptop version which offers the most in-depth user experience. Start your music-creating journey with me using GarageBand!
Class Goals
- - Learn how to setup a new song
- - Create and edit a drum track
- - Compose using preloaded loops
- - Record yourself or others using minimal equipment

The class will meet for four weekly 45-min live online sessions on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm ET | 4:30 pm PT on the schedule below. The first session is on January 10.
