About Fearless Lace Knitting
Have you always wanted to knit a pattern but were intimidated by that scary lace chart? If you can cast on, knit, purl, and cast off, Melanie can help you transform those skills into beautiful lace and help you conquer your fear. Not only will you discover it is fun to put holes in your knitting on purpose, you will leave with the confidence and skills (and some patterns) you need to make all sorts of knitted lace gifts for yourself and those you love.
The capacity for this class is 8 students.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Student Must Bring: straight or circular knitting needles in several sizes from US 4 to US 10. Just bring what you have - You don’t need ALL those sizes and there will be needles available to borrow or purchase, stitch markers
Materials Kit and Kit Description
Your class registration fee includes a materials kit with a value of $20 which includes:
high quality animal fiber yarn, patterns, a fun and patient learning environment

Refund Policy: To cancel an enrollment or request a refund, contact [email protected]. For 30+ days before, we refund 95%. Between 30 and 5 days, receive a 75% refund. No refunds within 5 days of class start date.
Melanie Koenig
Melanie has been enamored with all things fiber since her grandmother taught her to knit and crochet when she was five or six years old. She has spent a lifetime delving deeply into every fiber art you can imagine. She has even travelled to Peru and Bolivia to study knitting and to Mexico and Guatemala to study Mayan backstrap weaving and embroidery.
